ABOUT MIYA!
Miya is a recent NYC transplant from Honolulu, Hawaii. She is always found in a fun thrifted sweater, with tinsel in her hair, and a matcha in hand. As a graduate of the Hartt School at the University of Hartford with a BFA in Musical Theatre, she is very excited to be pursuing her dreams in New York City! Her personality traits include loving sharks, hating cheese, and always choosing kindness first. Her favorite credits include; Lorraine in 42nd Street, Rhoda in White Christmas, and an angel in Anything Goes. Most recently she was found in Naples, Florida opening up the brand new Baker Theatre at the Gulfshore Playhouse with Anything Goes choreographed by Sara Brians. Now back in NYC, she’s so excited to get back into her favorite tap classes, go walking through central park, and hit her reading goal again this year! <3
