ABOUT MIYA!

Hi there! My name is Miya Heulitt, and I’m a New York-based dancer, singer, actor, and giggle girl, originally from Honolulu, Hawaii. As a graduate of the Hartt School with a BFA in Musical Theatre, I’m incredibly grateful to be pursuing my lifelong dream of living in NYC and doing the thing (dancing <3)!

My key personality traits include loving sharks, hating cheese, and always choosing kindness first. If you're in the city, you can usually find me walking through the park-post pilates- in a fun thrifted sweater, with tinsel in my hair and matcha in hand.

I’m so grateful to be doing what I love most—tap dancing—across the country! Most recently, I was in Naples, Florida, for the inaugural production at the Baker Theatre at Gulfshore Playhouse in Anything Goes, choreographed by Sara Brians. I’m so incredibly lucky to be able to travel while doing what I love—it’s truly the gift that keeps on giving!

Up next I’m so excited to be going on my first national tour with A Christmas Story! The last time I did this show was back in Hawaii ten years ago in the youth ensemble and I can’t wait to spread Christmas joy across the country this holiday season!

When I’m back in NYC, I’m excited to hit up my favorite matcha spots (Kijitora and Maman, of course), get back in my favorite tap classes, and crush my reading goal this year!

Thanks for stopping by my site! Let light be light <3
